About the role

As our Deputy Care Manager, you’ll oversee administration tasks such as managing staff training, inductions, dealing with customer service and enquiry management, supporting the home manager for the selection, recruitment, induction and training and regular appraisal of all staff in the home, arrange trial visits and conduct assessments, ensure that the premises are at a high physical standard, fit for purpose and meet all legislative requirements at all times and also to work in conjunction with the Home Manager to monitor CQC standards and ensure effective delivery of quality of care within the home and to liaise effectively with CQC inspectors

Your warm, supportive, and caring nature will help you build meaningful relationships with our residents and staff and you will get to know everything about our residents likes and dislikes as well as their needs.

Here’s some other important things you need to know:

  • You must have a valid UK NMC pin
  • You’ll follow daily routines to ensure our care home meets CQC standards
  •  Previous care management essential
  • You must be able to develop and keep up to date care plans which deliver a satisfactory quality of life for all Residents.
  • You will help maintain our high standards at all times
