About the role

As our Clinical Deputy, you will take on the responsibility for the effective operation and delivery of the home’s business plan alongside the Home Manager.  You will have join responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home to exceed CQC standards.  You’ll recruit, induct, appraise and develop the care team to ensure that they fully trained and able to deliver the best possible care to our residents. 

 

Here’s some other important things you need to know:

  • Registered valid NMC pin is essential 
  • Experience working as a senior nurse in care home desired but not essential 
  • You will ensure that the daily staff rota is always in place to minimize agency use.
  • Ensure that all nursing team are competent in fulfilling their roles and responsibilities and to carry our regular checks as required, and spot checks to be done on both day and night team.
  • Work in conjunction with the Home Manager to maintain a log and report any Safeguarding and notifications to CQC
