About the role

As our Activities Coordinator for our residents that live with dementia you will help plan and organise a whole variety of activities for our residents to create a fun and interesting environment for them. You will also offer comfort and company on a one-to-one basis for any residents unable to undertake the activities.

With some skills in either Gardening, Baking, Crafts, would be beneficial but not essential if so then our activities coordinator role is the perfect role for you!

Here’s some other important things you need to know:

· You must be alert at all times to our residents’ physical and mental well being

· Organise and accompany Residents, where possible, to off-site activities, which may occasionally take place out of normal working hours

· Understand and ensure the implementation of the Care Homes Health and Safety policy, and Emergency and Fire procedures.

Here’s some other important things you need to know:

· You’ll conduct family visits round the home for any visitor who requires one in accordance with the training you have received

· You’ll take responsibility for solving problems and queries brought by visitors, internal or external bodies.

· You must be alert at all times to our residents’ physical and mental well being

· Understand and ensure the implementation of the Care Homes Health and Safety policy, and Emergency and Fire procedures.

· Organise and accompany Residents, where possible, to off-site activities, which may occasionally take place out of normal working hours
